Ashley Eusea graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, specifically in Athletic Training. Afterwards, she completed her Master of Art in Health Education. After practicing as an Certified Athletic Trainer for five years, she had the desire for a career change and wanted to focus on nutrition. She went back to school and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics. After graduation, she completed a dietetic internship at North Oaks Medical Center. She is now a Registered Dietitian at St. Tammany Cancer Center, a medical facility of Ochsner, with a strong passion for oncology patients. She is credentialed by the Commission for Dietetic Registration from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her current area of interest is decreasing the onset of malnutrition - focusing on all oncology patients, despite their plan of care. Ashley is eager to get involved in new and upcoming practices at our new cancer center; including, but not limited to, integrative oncology, clinical research involving prehabilitation, and improving the Therapeutic Food Pantry at the cancer center to assist more patients with food insecurity while undergoing cancer treatment.
