Store bought, gluten-free cookies have come a long way in terms of taste and nutrition. Here’s a roundup of five brands of cookies to try; each is gluten free and grain free, with low or no added sugar. Find them all at your local supermarket.

Top picks for store-bought, gluten-free cookies

Siete Grain Free Cookies

  • My go-to is Siete’s Mexican Shortbread cookie, thanks to its crispy, crunchy texture.
  • Gluten free, grain free, vegan
  • Per five cookies: 150 calories, 9 grams fat, 5 grams saturated fat, 17 grams carbohydrates, 1 gram fiber, 5 grams added sugar
  • Ingredients include a gluten-free flour blend (almond, tapioca, arrowroot, cassava, chickpea flour), coconut oil, coconut sugar, avocado oil, apple cider vinegar, sea salt

Partake Crunchy Cookies

  • My favorite is Partake’s Birthday Cake variety, which is similar to a shortbread or butter cookie
  • Top 8 allergen free, gluten free, vegan
  • Per three cookies: 140 calories, 7 grams fat, 0.5 grams saturated fat, 18 grams carbohydrates, 2 grams fiber, 8 grams added sugar

  • Buttery with a slightly crunchy texture
  • Gluten free, grain free
  • Per seven mini cookies: 140 calories, 13 grams fat, 6 grams saturated fat, 9 grams carbohydrates, 2 grams fiber, 1 gram sugar (0 grams added sugar)
  • Ingredients include almond flour, erythritol, stevia, monkfruit, coconut oil, butter, dried whole eggs, vanilla extract, collagen, guar and xanthan gums
